I and my wife have been coming to the boat show every year for over 40 years and we have visited other shows in Canada and by far this show outshines all others. This show offers everything to everybody in the boating or cottage life style. We have basically grew the size of our boat (footittis) by visiting the boat show and receiving advise from all makers to make our decisions. When we need something for our boat we say "lets wait for the Toronto boat show and we will have a wider variety to chose from. We also make the Toronto boat show a get away and a meeting place with all our boating partners from the Thousand Islands witch consist of people from Ottawa, Montreal, Kingston and Toronto . A group of us go every year. There is always something new to see. Deals are everywhere. Been going for years and we look forward to it every year. We usually make a whole day of it but a weekend would be fabulous.

My husband and I come to the boat show every year. We stay in Toronto and make a weekend of it. Outside of summer weekends on our own boat, it is one of our favorite weekends all year. We love going on all of the show boats and meeting other boaters. Looking forward to this years show!

Great show

This type of show brings not only the sportsperson together with boaters alike but also all of the manufacturers creating an event instead of a just shopping atmosphere. Things that are a "must see" and new and exciting product that gets put on Santa's list for years to come. Where else can you see sport, luxury and have fun doing it. Brad

Every year my husband Roy looks forward to the boat show....being a designer of our tiny house boat named Dianne'Rose, he named after me because he said because I don't like sailing he had to come up with something comfortable for me to go out in and enjoy all the wonders of our beautiful lakes. We enjoy the Toronto Boat Show, it's great seeing all the great boats, vendors and enjoying all the entertainment. Thank you for putting on a wonderful boat show every year. We have been going to the Detroit boat show for years. For some reason we never traveled to the Toronto boat show, until last year. We traveled from Leamington which was well worth the 3 to 4hr trip. We had no idea how much there was to see and do. It well exceeded our expectations. The venue was way larger than we thought. We stayed at Hotel X across the street which was not only convenient but beautiful as well. The boat exhibits had everything from small fishing boats to cruisers and everything in between. My wife was surprised by how much there was to browse for the cottage as well. This year we have invited friends from Georgia to attend with us, and we plan to make this an annual event. Looking forward to this years show! Well done.

We just love taking the family to the TIBS every year. There's something for everyone, from great cooking tips for the galley crew, to fun activities for kids. Seeing all the new products that make boating such a fun part of summer life and being able to speak directly to vendors and other boaters about practical application is a great way to prepare for the upcoming season! And there's usually some great deals to be had for the budget conscious boating family. Don't miss it!

The Toronto Boat Show is one of my winter highlights I try to get to every year. Its generally a good value show and I almost always buy something for my boat. I sail and race a 28 foot small yacht in Toronto for past twenty five years, and one of the best areas of the show is the annual preview of new sailboats. The sailboat showcase is also one of the worst parts of the event. Its far too small! Where are all the sailboat builders? Surely in Canada there is a larger sailing industry than is represented at the show? I love powerboats too and grew up powerboating and racing, but having more sailboats and gear in the Toronto Boat Show must become a bigger priority. All in all a good event and well worth attending. Just needs more sailing!
