Baby it's cold outside...

I love the Toronto Boat Show. During the freezing, dark days of winter, is like being whisked to summer... Getting together friends. A pleasant walk to see boats, docks, wake-boarding, canoes, life-jackets, flags, etc. Fried fish and chips with craft beer for lunch. I love it every year!

Toronto Boat Show

Been going for years. Love the seminars, meeting with factory representatives for information on their products. Has helped me make informed decisions on my purchases for my boat. Great deals also from exhibitors.

I have attended the show every year I’ve been alive and we’ll just say I’m approaching half a century. I’ve been a visitor, I’ve worked in some capacity at the show or I’ve purchased boats, accessories, etc over the years. It’s been something my family and I have looked forward too for many many years. Even if you’re not looking to spend big money on a boat, it’s a great day, or even weekend, out. It’s a great way to break up the winter!

Dr

I have been attending the Toronto Boat show for over 20 years. Looking to buy a new boat doesn’t make any sense since they are more expensive than a house in the Bridal Path. I love the back part of the show where you can find all kind of goods for your boat, new tech gadgets etc. I prefer to go alone so I can wonder at my own will and find what I am interested in. I will be there in January, you will see me like the guy with a bag full of pamphlets. Cheers

Why I go to theTIBS every year

I plan my day at TIBS around the seminar programs that particular day as well as the Boathouse presentations that appeal to me. The presenters are invariably well informed, articulate and entertaining I also like to inspect the annual crop of sailboats, looking for innovations in cockpit and cabin layout. I drop by my favourite retailers like the Rigging Shoppe and Nautical Mind, to mention just a few of the exhibitors, with an eye for their "show specials" and other discounts. I pick up literature like the latest MOT boating safety guide, Ontario marina association directory, update myself about the latest CHS charts/publications, and check out agencies concerned with our water environment. All of these are the waypoints along my TIBS itinerary.

First time boaters

We came to your show before we bought a sailboat. The help from the seminars, experts and product displays gave us the exact knowledge we needed. Honest help from seasoned sailors. We bought a 33 foot Hunter and had a great first season. Thank you!

Toronto Boat show!

My hubby and I go to numerous boat shows throughout the year. Toronto ranks in top 2! The Toronto boat show is not only a place to look for a new boat or accessories, but also to meet with friends, have a beer and talk about boats! Looking very forward to our visit in 2020!

Gets us stoked for boating season

What a great way to spend a winters day dreaming for summer to hurry up. We enjoy viewing the newest in boating and accessories . Stopping buy the Yamaha site and talking with our favourite dealers at Fenlon Falls Marina is also a must during a day visit. Can never seem to leave without purchasing something for our boating adventures.
