Every year my wife and I travel down to Toronto to the annual boat show. We make a day out of it. We love to see the new boats and new features that the boat manufacturers have come up with. It is great to compare our boat and the newer models and see what upgrades we could make to ours. We also love the market place for boat products. Its nice to see the products in person to make a informed decision to purchase them or not. Much better then looking on line and ordering. Not to mention the discounts that are applied at the show. We always go with a list of items to check out and possibly purchase directly at the show. This year we moved into a new waterfront home and wanted a dock system. We had researched many dock companies prior to the show but it was not until we attended the show and actually saw the docks and spoke with the vendors that we purchased them. We also were in the market for a new dinghy and davit system for out boat. Once again the boat show came through and we were once again able to view these items in person as well as speaking with vendors to make an informed decision. The discounts we received were worth the trip alone! We further try to attend the show when there are lectures that we are interested in. We have heard many great lectures over the years and learned a lot in the process. All in all, the Toronto Boat show is a something that we look forward to every year and this year will be no different. I highly recommend it to anyone who has an interest in boating. From the fisherman to the yachtsman, it has everything for everyone!

Like the seminars, you learn so much

We have gone as a family for a number of years, definitely something for everyone to enjoy. From the educational (and inspirational) presentations by seasoned boaters to the water sports demos and the multitude of shopping options, there is never a dull moment. We'll be back.

We have been driving down to the boat show for years and have never been disappointed. It allows you to see and handle all the equipment you may want to buy for your boat over the year right there.

We take our 3 children every year. They love walking through the big yachts and trying out the sea doos! The wakeboarding show is also a hit while we enjoy some Smokes Poutine. My husband has always dreamed of having a bow rider at the dock at the cottage and each year I think we get closer to actually getting one! A nice family day!

I enjoy seeing the latest boats. It is always a good time to purchase boat items with so many vendors to choose from. All the additional vendors selling clothes, jewelery etc is also quite enjoyable. We attend every year with friends and always make a weekend trip out of it as we live out of town!

We enjoy going on the big boats, the power boats and the sail boats. We enjoy all the exhibits and talking to knowledgeable people about docks and other water-related items. The power boat television booth has been very helpful. Great place to gather ideas and equipment. We really enjoy the boat we bought there a few years ago.

Great opportunity to see whats new and pick up product for existing boat at a decent price.

I have been going to the show for almost 40 yrs now, my parents took me when I was little. I always like the family set up, the variety of offerings and the great presenters!
