My husband and I always love the boat show weekend. We get together with boating friends and spend time at the show touring the boats and looking for new products to improve our boating life. We also pick up brochures with information on ports of interest and enjoy talking to the personnel representing the different marinas. We love the summertime feeling we get from visiting the show.

While I expect everyone enjoys wandering around the endless lines of everything related to summer and water, what I found most interesting were the technical talks. These included anchoring, electronics, navigation and what to expect when sailing in tropical Caribbean waters.

All your boating needs and wants under one roof! A great way to spend some time with family and friends and shake off some of those winter blas!

As a liveaboard boater, I'm always looking for ways to make my sailboat home safer, draw less power and plan for my next big getaway. I'm also wanting to get links to even more advanced captaining skills and certifications. I network, present seminars, and meet all my friends there. It's a great space to think about the beauty we are able to enjoy, the accessibility of our Harbourfront, the way that marine life changes us, and the community we engage in. I know I'm always going to have water in sight in my life, and know that's that the best part of boating - being close to nature and having experiences with friends and family that make life worth living. The show is my annual tune-up!

The whole family loves coming to this show. There is nothing like a little bit of summer in the middle of winter. Indoor Lake, with demonstrations on wake board, water skiing, paddle board, canoe and paddle boat use with live in water entertainment and seminars. Everything that you could possibly need to outfit a boat or to purchase a new boat. Very good pricing on all accessories, great show deals on boats and it is just plain fun to be at the Toronto Boat Show.

I have always enjoyed a little summer in the winter . Sort of an escape from reality ... Looking forward to shopping for some new electronics for my 35 Searay with my girlfriend Ann ...
