There is nothing better in the midst of winter than to go down to the CNE and immerse yourself in the Boat Show. Now only are the boats of every size and for every purpose, there are also hundreds of vendors where you can shop and compare products that will make your coming summer much more enjoyable. Whether it is setting up your dock, outfitting your sailboat, getting the latest fishing gear, or checking out kayaks and canoes, everything is there under one roof. On top of that, there is also the indoor lake with a continuous stream of demonstrations and activities. And you shouldn't forget all the seminars that are constantly underway. There hasn't been a winter for years during which I haven't gone to breathe the air of the boating life; it's almost a pilgrimage.
