HIGH ADMISSION AND PARKING
I will give 3 stars because of the variety of displays, but that is where it
ends. Paying $26/person and $18 more to park is plain and simple a cash
grab. The show was large, but really, as a boat buyer (an actual buyer) you
are looking at only one type of craft, so maybe 25% to 30% of the displays
have your interest. You might say, you are spending big dollars on a new
boat so what is an extra few hundred dollars, but it is the principle of
more overpriced products that rubbed us the wrong way. While admittedly
seeing all the boats and complementing businesses in one place was very
cool, the admission could be better spent. $20 and $10 to park and we
wouldn't have batted an eye. If you want to "charge" $26, why not offer a
digital coupon? But simply up the price and attendance goes down...is it
worth it? I would not recommend this show solely based on the pricing.
